Peel Treatments
Prior to undergoing any advanced peel treatment, you’ll recieve an in depth consultation with a skincare professional to assess your skin type, primary concerns, medical history and suitability for treatment. They will devise a treatment plan and select the appropriate type & strength of peel based on your skin health and your skin goals.
Depending on the peel treatment you may be required to pause use of certain products or medications in advance, such as retinol or steroids, in order to minimise potential sensitivity.
During your peel treatment you will likely feel a tingling or warm sensation as the active ingredients get to work exfoliating and resurfacing your skin.
Once the peel has been neutralised and removed we will apply products tailored to your skin concerns and the results that you are working to achieve.
Following treatment you will be given clear instructions to follow whilst your skin is recovering from the procedure.
Depending on the strength of peel and the depth of exfoliation, you may experience some redness, tightness, flaking or peeling in the days following the procedure. Any side effects are temporary and subside within a few days to a week.
